Bucket List

World Map Countries

So far, i’ve made it to 4 continents and 15 countries. When I look at it on a map, it doesn’t seem like anywhere near enough!!

Europe: UK (I know I live here but it counts okay?), France – all over, Spain – Barcelona and the north, the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Germany – Munich and Ulm, Switzerland – Lake Geneva, Italy – Sorrento, Amalfi and Sicily, Slovenia – Bled, The Netherlands – Amsterdam, Belgium – Brussels, Greece – Athens and various islands, Cyprus, Turkey.

USA: New York, Arizona (my fav) – Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, Page, and the Grand Canyon, Washington – Seattle, Oregon – Portland and bumfucknowhere, California – San Francisco, Yosemite, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, San Diego, Utah, Texas  – Dallas, Denton, Austin, San Antonio and Houston, Colorado – Denver and Boulder, and finally Chicago, Illinois.

Asia: Indonesia – the paradise that is Bali, Thailand – Bangkok, Krabi and Koh Lanta, Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang

Australasia: Just little (or not so little) New Zealand!

The aim is to make 2019 the year of city breaks – there are so many places close to home that I need to explore, and all of these can be done so easily (and cheaply) in little more than a weekend. I’m also planning on heading to Jordan later in the year, and have a cheeky all-inclusive beach-bliss break in the works.

Naturally this takes up most of the map, because what travel-fanatic doesn’t have a foot-long bucket list. South America probably comes at the top of this list, but really, I just want to go everywhere!

Europe: Poland, Croatia, Hungary, Austria, Iceland, Ireland, Scotland Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Africa/Middle East: Morocco, Jordan, Egypt, Oman, Tanzania and Zanzibar, Madagascar, South Africa, Mozambique, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Rwanda

Asia: Nepal, Cambodia, Bhutan, Myanmar, Laos, The Phillipines, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan

North America: New Orleans, Nashville, Memphis, Boston, Miami, Vermont, Hawaii, Alaska plus all the National Parks, especially Yellowstone, Denali, Bryce Canyon and Zion. Top it off with Mexico, Cuba, Antigua, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, St. Lucia

Australasia: Australia, Fiji, Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands

And last but definitely not least,

South/Central America: Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Chile (and Easter Island), Colombia, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Belize.
